FatPhil (3443), Espoo, Finland Jun 17, 2009 Cask (Gallows Bird, Espoo) - as Herok & Howell’s Tantallon Sunrise
Nettley hoppy aroma, a touch sulphurous. Soft palate. Full bodied taste - nice sweet malt, some grains, and sharp biting bitterness - tasty, though a bit aspartame-like. Pleasant hoppy finish. A bit GK-ey, but pretty tasty. Magicdave6 (5383), London, Greater London, England Apr 12, 2008 Cask in the Ingrim Bar. Aroma is floural and citrus, quite rich malt character. Tast is similar quite fruity with peppery notes off the malt. Cask as Herock & Howell’s Tantallon Sunrise IPA. cgarvieuk (4159), Edinburgh, Scotland Mar 7, 2007 a golden coloured ale, with hoppy aroma, and a fruity hoppness. kays Edinburgh . oh6gdx (8795), Vasa, Finland Dec 3, 2006 Cask (cask said: "Belhaven Tantallon Sunrise, 12.9.06, brew 262"). Orange colour, mediumsized white fluffy head, which lasts for quite a while. Aroma is fruits, hops and some acidicness. Flavour is fruits, berries and slight hoppy dryness. Pleasant one, but also this one was served a bit too cold (approx 10 C) and got better once it got a bit warmer.
