(Draught at Hilpeä Hauki on 2009-01-08) Very pale amber. Clear. Medium sized and long lasting white head. Fruity and citric nose. Medium bodied and dryish palate with medium carbonation. Fruitiness, bitterness, sweetness, malts, hint of white bread and grass in taste. Bitter and lightly sweet aftertaste.

Nice amber color with thin head, delicate aroma of malt and vanilla with some pineapple mentioned by others, starts with hoppy flavors, continue with fine sweetness of chocolate, honey and malt, bitter finish, nice IPA.

Bottle. Dark gold colour with thin white head. Malty oat aroma not too much bitterness and a little hoppy in the back end. Thought it was certainly worth drinking again in my short supply of any decent beer shops in walking distance. I’m a lazy man.

0.5L bottle, stable lacing head which lasted even after the beer was gone. clear dark gold colour with orange taints. When poured, a melange of tropical fruit aroma bursts out of the glass, among them i detected pineapple and mango. After a few minutes, some grapefruit and herbs come forward. Strong emphatic bitterness with notes of citrus and a touch of malt in the back. Body is medium to full, but the aftertaste is suprisingly short.

Bottle. Copper, coarse white lacing head. Nicely balanced, caramel malty and piney hoppy aroma. Pitchy flavor, raisins, biscuit maltiness, herbal finish. Slightly syrupy palate. Nice and balanced IPA, nothing extreme, but a lot better than most modern British attempts.

Bottle. Clear amber colour with little white head. Real basic IPA aroma. Plenty of friut and and hops in flavor, very easy drinkable IPA.
