When poured, a melange of tropical fruit aroma bursts out of the glass, among them i detected pineapple and mango. After a few minutes, some grapefruit and herbs come forward. Strong emphatic bitterness with notes of citrus and a touch of malt in the back. Body is medium to full, but the aftertaste is suprisingly short. austone (1039), Turku; Pori, Finland
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 2, 2008 Bottle. Copper, coarse white lacing head. Nicely balanced, caramel malty and piney hoppy aroma. Pitchy flavor, raisins, biscuit maltiness, herbal finish. Slightly syrupy palate. Nice and balanced IPA, nothing extreme, but a lot better than most modern British attempts. joe19612 (696), camberley, Surrey, England

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 24, 2008 Bottle. Clear deep golden color with a medium stable white head. Aroma of hops, some flowers, citrus, trupical fruits hints and a malty background with some biscuits. Sweetish malty flavor at first with some breadiness. Continues bitter with American hops - some citrus and some piney notes. Medium-bodied, slightly oily and a tad overcarbonated for my taste. Overall very enjoyable and quite refreshing, I could have fun time sessioning this. thewolf (5796), Kolding, Denmark

Pours golden caramel coloured with a nice, staying, creamy, white head. Aroma is pleasantly hoppy, lots of grass, herbs and flowers. Low carbonation, okay mouthfeel. Flavour has a subdued fruity tartness at first, then lots of dry hoppiness. Long heather-like bitter hops finish with notes of pine and flowers. Refreshing. Orange and bright with lots of carbonation and a very slight white head. Metallic and full of minerals. Slight hops, fairly fierce malt. Harsh and unbalanced. Pretty rank.
