| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 22, 2007 Tap... came out a bright, semi-foggy orange with little to no head. Floral, smooth, fruity malt up front followed by hops. Not as bittery-hop as I’d prefer. Possible session? Schultsc (486), Henderson, Nevada, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 21, 2007 On tap at Lucky Baldwin’s IPA Festival ’07. Light orange gold color with a thin head. Subtly smoky, almost heathery aroma with a slight malt sweetness. Some light peated malt smokiness is perceived with a touch of malty sweetness and herbaceousness. Light body without much bitterness. naivepegasus (193), USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 17, 2007 poured into a chalice. Light, rapidly dissipated head, poured a honey orange color. Odor not overpowering, though the hops are noticeable. A lot less of a hop flavor than I expected, but it ends in a pleasant bitter hop aftertaste. An enjoyable beer, but there are better IPAs out there. jvmiller (532), Bel Air, Maryland, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 17, 2007 OK hop presence, but not very well balanced. Watery and thin, a very thin sweetness. Seems like just another generic crappy IPA. Uglyradio (776), Greenville, South Carolina, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 14, 2007 Fruity aromas. Copper color with a white head. Big fruity hop flavors. Medium mouthfeel. Very tastey. carboloader (325), Houston, Texas, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 10, 2007 Pours reddish amber, tall cream-colored head that lasts forever -- thick and oily. Aroma is fruity hops with some esters. I find it to be too sweet for me. It has a slight estery medicine-like quality that is clearly more European than American when it comes to IPAs. Personal preference I suppose. NJBeerman013 (783), Trenton, New Jersey, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 7, 2007 Bottle. A solid IPA. It pours a deep amber in color. There is a ton of hops in this beer giving it a great bite. There is a citrusy note to the flavor that is delicious. The hop level is so high that if you leave it on your tongue for a moment it starts to really tingle. A great beer from a great brewery. mugabe (219), Sweden
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 5, 2007 Draught. Dark ruby. Creamy hops in aroma and taste. Bitter, long finish with roasted almonds. One of my favourite brews.
