| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Aug 25, 2007 Pours a clear amber with a thinm white head that dissapates quickly and leaves only a ring around the glass and some floating islands. Aroma is very nice, sweet with a hint of molases or maple syrup, with a definate spicy hop aroma afterwards. Flavor is similarly sweet, but not as much as the aroma. Very dry with a nice subtle hop bitterness, a little higher on the IBUs than the usual English IPA. Carbonation is moderatley high as you may expect to find in an IPA. A wonderful English IPA. thomat (666), Göteborg, Sweden

Medium body with a dry finish. rayg1 (438), Ft. Mill, South Carolina, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 22, 2007 Pours a deep amber with a small white head. Aroma is interesting because this is not your typical citrus smelling IPA this is much less sweet and more bitter. Taste very much the same a lot of hops but probably what you would not expect as this is an English style IPA. The more I drink this, the more I think I may have an infected bottle. Tons of sediment in this one. Plus, the beer has a almost burnt taste to it, strange indeed and not very good at all. ilovedarkbeer (1365), Dallas, Texas, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 21, 2007 Somewhat of a session ale IMO. Tastes less hoppey and more sweet and bitter than most IPAs. Pours a honey amber color and tastes like hops and sugar. When it warms you can actually taste the thistle. Not bad. tangentrider (144), USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 15, 2007 Slightly cloudy amber beer with a white head and a fruity hop aroma. Clean, citrusy, flowery hop flavor and a heavy bitter finish. MrBunn (1540), Western, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 7, 2007 Bottle. Body is amber with a pretty good frothy and foamy head. Aromas are slightly grassy with a sweet apple juice malt presence and a little bit of a grapefruit hops presence. Flavor is fairly sweet and gives way to a nice hops presence that brings a nice bitter finish to it. Well balanced but not complex. Kalli (477), Falun, Sweden
