Somewhat fruity aroma (apricot, pineapple, citrus). Flavor is a bit sweet, with hops flavors like the aroma. Actually better colder than when it warmed. fonefan (11878), VestJylland, Denmark

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 8, 2007 Floral, slightly evergreen hop aroma. Not so strong as NW IPAs. A white head that passed away with a little lacing. Good bracing start - malt almost evenly balanced with hop. A bit citrusy. Light to medium mouthfeel. There is a caramel aspect to the malt. But the bitter is always there and it goes on and on. A civilized IPA. Hansen (2285), Randers, Denmark

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Mar 6, 2007 Picked up this pint in New Jersey. Pours a big creamy head on yellow. Lace in glass. Aroma is metallic, as if it was poured from a can. Taste is thin, creaminess and burnt. There is a moderate bitterness and a ignificant maltness overtaken by the burntness. This was not finishable.

Grainy yeast aroma with hoppy thistle sweetness, fruity spices and a hint of licorice. Clear, amber brown body with very tiny disappearing bubbles and a medium-lasting foamy off-white head. Flavour has malted wood overtones with a spicey background and a hoppy aftertaste. Medium body, tangy. Interesting blend of spice -- convincingly twisted and thistley.
