May 24, 2009 This poured an orange color with a moderate white head. The aroma contains pine, grapefruit, and oranges. The flavor is rather hoppy with more grapefruits, orange, and a slight malt presence. This probably walks the line between APA and IPA but still a nice beer.

May 15, 2009 On tap at International Beer Garten (Tampa, FL). Pours a generally clear dark orange to amber color with a thin white head. Aroma is sweet and floral with light notes of citrus, grapefruit, pine, floral hops, some light caramel and honey. Flavor is also sweet and floral with notes of caramel, malt, pine, light notes of citrus, grapefruit, floral hops. Generally light to medium body with a pleasing floral hop finish. Decent IPA.

smell is of slight grapefruit, some caramel, and a touch floral.
taste is creamy, citrus, some caramel, few malts, some wood, and hops in the back, ends bitter and a little dry.

May 3, 2009 Served in a shaker at the Austin Flying Saucer. Pours clear gold with one finger head. Smoky aroma over floral hops. Nice carbonation and a crisp aftertaste. An unusual and very drinkable IPA.

Apr 29, 2009 On tap. The pour was clear amber with a white head that produced decent lacing. The aroma was stale hops, malt and grainy. The flavor was grainy, pine hops and a bit of malt. Tasted stale and old. The mouthfeel was thin to medium in body. Abrupt finish.
