Bottle: Pastuerised.
A refreshing example of an India Pale Ale from the master brewers at Belhaven. The blend of Cascade and Challenger hops combine to produce an abundance of fresh hop aroma that preludes a bitter-dry taste explosion. Bottle. Clear gold pour with a small white head. Aroma of pine and floral hops, malty, earth caramel and a bit of butter. Flavor was bitter hops, earth, dirth. lots of bitterness and astringency. Decent IPA.

On tap. The pour was clear amber with a white head that produced decent lacing. The aroma was stale hops, malt and grainy. The flavor was grainy, pine hops and a bit of malt. Tasted stale and old. The mouthfeel was thin to medium in body. Abrupt finish.

Bottle. Pours with a small, white head over a clear golden body. Aroma is grassy hops, grain, malts, honey. Taste is pretty bitter upfront, but lacks any real hop taste or profile (like they added a bunch of hops at the start of the boil, and then none towards the end). A bit of caramel and chalk after the hops. Water like mouthfeel with medium carbonation.

3,95$ for 500 ml at SAQ. Recent but not that great product from those bozos working there (governmental society; they’re so scared about the idea of diversifying the choice). The aroma and the taste have something unpleasant in it, like chalk, aspirin, and a watery thin texture. Very dry mouthfeel but also unpleasant. Some grapefruit, that turns into aspirin again. I didn’t like that one at all; so much I wonder if the bottle was OK... ADDED: I rated 221 beers and I forgot I rated this one; how do Ungstrup and Papsoe keep it up? All in all, it is not as bad as my previous 3-3-3-3-9 rating; hopefully you won’t read this rating and you will not associate this hop dryness to Aspirin (too late; enjoy your medication!). But I still don’t enjoy this beer very much.

Bottle as shown. Pours a cloudy orange amber with a small creamy white head that diminshes quickly and leaves behind good sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is floral and cascade hops with citrus. The taste is a dry hop with a crisp bitter finish. A good amercian pale ale from Belhaven.

Pours a nice light copper color with a thick foamy head and lots of yeast floaties. Aroma is big caramel toffee and earthy hops. Smooth crisp malt taste with touches of toffee, citrus and earthy hop bitterness. Good brit IPA, but the bottle might be a little old.

hazy deep golden body and lighter yellow at edges. tall creamy and thick foamy off-white head. biscuity sweet malt and mild floral hop aroma. faint honey too. flavor is a bit metallic up front, then goes to light honey, grassy malt, and bitter hoppyness. sprightly carbonation, gets a bit spicy and then a peaty finish and dried grassy aftertaste.

On draught at The Pub. The beer pours a slightly clouded orange-amber color with a thick and foamy off-white head that diminishes slowly. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Floral hops aroma with notes of fruit. Medium body with moderately bitter hops coupled with fruity and floral notes. The finish is somewhat hoppy with a lingering bitter aftertaste. Decent overall.
