Ungstrup (11378), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 6, 2007 Bottled. An amber beer with a huge light orange head. The aroma is sweet and quite hoppy with notes of grapefruit, thistle, grass, and some flowers. The flavor is sweet and very floral with notes of thistle, elderberryflowers, and some perfume, on a light caramel back ground, before the hops gain slightly in strength and comes along with notes of grapefruit and grass, leading to a nicely bitter end, after which the acidic grapefruit note lingers in the mouth. omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Oct 1, 2006 [Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival]
Clear amber, rich brief head. Strong fruity perfumy hop aroma. Medium sweet and fairly light bodied. There’s some caramel and bread, but it’s dominated by peachy hops. Medium bitterness. Un-scottish. Papsoe (10359), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jan 14, 2007 (Bottle 50 cl) Clear, pale amber golden with a white head. Lightly citrusy aroma. Fairly light-bodied. Some malt but overwhelmingly dominated by fairly dry and citric hops that leave a solid dose of bitterness. 080107 Oakes (6979), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Dec 10, 2005 Bright amber colour. Cranberry, peach fruitiness, light earthiness in the aroma. Fairly complex flavour with a cheesy, tobaccoey note, a random herbal quality and subdued fruitiness. Interesting premium bitter but ultimately like putting a great soundsystem in a Tercel. It has some pretty cool features, but the overall package really isn’t that enticing. joergen (6529), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 11, 2007 Bottle.
