Dark red pour with off-white head. Malts and more malts in the nose and flavor. Aroma also presents hints of earthiness, straw and moss. Flavor is sweet and bready with a bitter end. Lively carbonation with medium body, moderately long finish. Watery texture. Easy drinking.

Pours dark amber into a stem glass. Off-white conglomerate/micro head leaves slight sheet as it recedes to hold steady on the surface. Smoked plum and apricot aromas. Sweet and full with smoked pit fruit flavors and a lasting bitter finish.

reddish brown with a thick mocha head. Nice smoky aroma. Very malty sweet and smoky taste. Slight hop presence and bitterness. Excellent.

Dark ruby colour, with a nice beige head. Good aroma, malty, fruity, and with notes of caramel. fruity and smokey. good body. Warming beer.

Scotland makes some great fall/winter brews! This is excellent-- dark red-brown, tan head. Rich aromas of smoky caramel, a little peaty. Very flavourful, sweet but a bitter finish rounds it out. Rich and satisfying.

Bouteille de 500 lm de HodTownHarry. Belle couleur terre cuite foncée, petit collet qui reste. Petit arrome de malte caramelisé avec une sensation de scotch adorable. Goût un peu fumé, faiblemen sucré, pas trop de malte.

500 ml bottle. Dark brown with a red hue and an average-sized cream white head that clings to the glass. Crisp nutty and marzipan-like sweet aroma. Caramel malts and roasted malts. Distinct bitter and sweet flavour. Quite sharp bitterness balances the roasted toffee and coffee-like burnt malt flavour. More mellow mouthfeel and a long grassy bitter finish. Malt candy flavour. Quite nice actually.

Poured a clear dark copper brown from the bottle with almost no fizzy off white head. Slightly malty aroma, but little smell to speak of. Malty flavor and the malted barley adds a bit of spice. The taste is easy on the palate and watery but potent.
