Pale yellow lager with a thick big bubbled head. Grassy malt and bubble gum in aroma. Fresh malt with grainy notes and light hops. Very thin and plain. Bought in Gatineau in 15 mix pack.

Lightly grainy, citrusy, typical lager aroma. Clear pale gold with shy white head that recedes to thin cover. Grainy malt over thin body. Bottle (sampled at Mondial 2004).

Bottle (341ml). Via trade with mouton_noire. Bubbly clear pale gold, fluffy white head. Cheap corn aroma, dry, vegetal, a bit funky but not in a good way. Dry stale sweet corn taste, cardboardy grain, something vaguely bitter pretending to be hops, nasty sweet finsh - watery, flat, sticky, ugly aftertaste - this is basically Blue Light - maybe a hint better.

Clear gold, creamy head, rather shy appearance. Watery, thin, mineral, short flat finish. Not much here.

Crisp clear yellow with a white film of a head rises up to become a fluffy white head with a swirl of the glass. Funky slightly citrusy aroma is very light and bland all around. Mondial 1T (Capflu)

(Bottle) Mondial de la Bière 2004. Health sample serving from these boys! 1 ticket buys you a 3/4 pint. Thin, white head with lots of carbonation and a clear gold body. Nose of bananas. Wheaty and fizzy. Boring.

Pours a clear pale golden color with a medium bubbly white head. The aroma is not too bad for a pale lager, grainy malt and citrus, but there might be corn in there. The flavor is rather boring, the malt is not particluary present and there’s a sweetness that might be related to adjuncts. Light and watery palate with lively carbonation. Boring beer.

(Rating #180)
