Aug 9, 2003 Medium amber clear under a smallish white head. Intriguing medium fruity honey and vinous aroma with hint of dry cleaning fluid. Medium light body. Disappointingly short light malty start. Lacks any kind of distinctiveness after that until a mild spicy finish and aftertaste.

Aug 5, 2003 mmm mes papilles gustatives goûtent encore cette bonne bière québécoise. Vraiment, je crois que je suis vendu à la Belle Guelle, c'est ma bière de microbrasserie favorite. Il y a trois Belle Gueule, mais les trois sont très différentes les unes des autres. Certaines grosses brasseries ne peuvent en dire autant. Bref la Belle Guelle Originale est une bière qui se boit et qui descend très bien. Buvez-là!

Jan 5, 2003 I enjoyed this one. A small amount of bitterness but it has a nice flavour that is just there and not too overpowering. I would buy this again.
