Goût excellent et caractère super, la Belle Gueule Pilsner est ma bière favorite. Une bière de micro-brasserie québécoise qui réussit à faire une excellente bière. muzzlehatch (4427), Burlington, Vermont, USA

Cloudy, oily effervescent gold gradually clears as the medium fluffy head quickly dies...nicely balanced malty-grassy hop nose with hints of lilac and, quite strangely, salami (no I don’t have any in the house)....pleasantly tangy mouthfeel, slightly high carbonation and again excellently balanced sweet pale malt with some tartness and hints of dry hops late...no masterpiece this, but a finely turned workmanlike example, severely underrated here in my opinion. Sharp and dry, with good malt character and a decent hoppy bite in the finish. The only drawback is that it lacks any real charcter of it’s own to distinguish it from the hundreds of other "very good" pilseners. Worth a try if you see it. puzzl (2648), New York, New York, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 14, 2007 On tap. It was listed as "blonde," which I’ll assume is this. Dry, hay, mildew aroma. Semi-sweet taste, dank, slight caramel. Not too bad. Radek Kliber (3986), Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), Ontario, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 27, 2004 Soft malty aroma . Nice rich texture , medium full body (true to promise of RJ) . Nice softness , that makes very drinkable . To bad it was shy on hops . Nice helles (?) Sammys (428), Portland, Maine, USA

Malty and some herbal hops in the aroma but also the skunky hop you find in so many German pilseners. Pale golden color, white head, good lace. Malty, lightly hopped, very crisp. Nice refreshing pilsener. Davhgbrew (418), Boca Raton, Florida, USA

I am usually uniterested in Pilsners, but I tried this one simply for rating purposes and was pleasantly surprised. Nothing exciting, but very drinkable, and I would definitely drink again.
