nice amber orange colour, minimal and fast disipating head, some malts on the nose, somewhat bitter but nice

Bottle courtesy of HogTownHarry. Pours a clear orange-amber with a small diminishing white head. Aroma of caramel malt, grain and some sugary sweetness. Flavour of sweet caramel malt, grain and a very light bitterness to it. Light to medium bodied. It’s drinkable but it’s also quite bland.

Draught. At Portofino in Québec City. Clear light copper, average creamy white head. Generic grainy aroma, light roast caramel grain; sweet. Tastes quite a bit like Rickard’s Red - overly sugar caramel malt, very faint bitterness, a bit papery. Watery body, decent carbonation, quick finish, slightly displeasing aftertaste. Just okay.

Amber color, the aroma of caramel and malt. Very little bitterness. The taste is average for a Rousse. I am not a fan of Belle Gueule

Smooth, malty taste for this red lager is the dominant characteristic. There exists enough malt body to make the beer taste interesting but not memorable. This is a good clean example of a red lager but isn’t an outstanding beer.

341 ml bottle. Rousse colour with a thick white head. The aroma is roasted malt and hops. The taste is roasted malt and caramel with a pleasant bitterness from hops.

The aroma is in the categorie of traditional rousse beer...and the appearance is normal. The flavor and palate is ok, not more. I don’t know why, but I thought that Belle Gueule would be better beer than what I drank...a little bit disapointed.

Très bonne bière lisse et savoureuse. Un bon goût de malte riche et un peu rafréchissant. La meilleur des Belle Gueule.
