Sweet Munich malt is everywhere in here, a touch of cherry fruitiness, caramel, toffee and a hint of grassy hop aroma/flavour. Flavour is quite malty and bready. A decent beer. Im not even a big fan of the style, so the rating is going to be even lower. Amber color and a decent head. Thats where the good part ends. The beer falls as quickly as the head dissapears. Lightly malted, lightly hopped this stuff doesn’t have the balance to make it blend into a palatable beverage. I finished it at least, so thats something. Nice low level of sweetness makes this a decent beer. Nice smooth finish. Volgon (2490), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 25, 2004 Amber, beige head of decent size, no lacing. The aroma is not to strong: mostly malty. Flavour is well balanced, thought the sweet malt is the main thing here. Nothing spectacular, nothing really bad either. Suprisingly smooth though. Alright. Bottle.
