| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Nov 26, 2003 Textbook amber. Smallish, white head. Poor retention.
Nose of caramel, beef broth and bacon grease.
Malty, but also thin regarding flavor with hints of straw.
Medium-bodied with an oily mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation.
Short, crisp finish. Would probably go well with certain dishes or cheeses (especially anything smoked), but doesn't fair so well on its own. MartinT (5080), Montreal, Quebec, Canada
