A Mes rate: Can at Chris O’s Fukito tasting.
I picked this up at a petrol station in Belgium. It looks like a kids drink in the Red Bull sized can and I found it irresistible. Two thngs make me laugh about this beer. Firstly the company it keeps in the ’Best Lambic Fruit’ list on the right of this page. Second the sheer glee with which Steve greeted it when I pulled it out of my bag. The 1996 bottle of Westy 12 that was about to be opened was pushed to the side and the can of this that had been on the table for less than 10 seconds was opened with obvious excitement. To be totally honest, I can’t help but like it. As a beer it’s shocking. As a bit of fun it’s great.

Can at Chris_o’s place. A pleasant, very sweet and refreshing and fun drink with low alcohol. I love these sweet fizzy beers - they make me happy. This one has the added bonus of tasting like rhubarb and custard sweets. Great fun.

Can: Poured a red color with thin pinkish head. the aroma was not very pleasant reminded me of cheap box wine. The taste was slightly better with sweet fruit.

Canned, 25 cl. Light red, clear color with fine pinkish head. Aroma green apple, sweet, fruity. Thin body. Taste = syrup feeling, very sweet.

Can. Sweet, like cordial or something. Sweet candy characters. Fizzy cherry/apple soda. Pretty bad. One for the kids.

A pink beer with a thick pinkish head. The aroma is sweet with powerful notes of cherries - though somewhat artificial, and with light notes of apples in the background. The flavor is artificial, like a kids softdrink, with notes of both cherries and apples. What is this? a cherry radler?
