JorisPPattyn (4642), Antwerpen, Belgium Aug 18, 2008 Huge, very fine & dense pink head, leaving lace over clear light-terracotta beer. (Wet) cardboard; fruity, vegetable frying oil, sunoil, sulphur - weird aromas. Bit spritzy-fruity flavours, but also vegetable, as broccoli. Sweet mainly in the finish, but nowhere exaggerated. Spritzy MF, oily-filmy feeling over light bodied, overcarbonated beer. Certainly not too sweet - but as from there...
HermanW (515), Coevorden, Netherlands Nov 20, 2008 Fijne frambozen bier. Ungstrup (11711), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 1, 2008 Bottled. A reddish amber beer with a fast disappearing light pink head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of raspberries - a bit artificial. The flavor is very sweet with a slight acidity and strong notes of raspberries. MiP (6337), Flensburg, Germany Oct 11, 2008 Bottle, 2.9%. Sweet raspberry aroma, seems a little citric as well. Clear dark red/brown colour. Small head, seems almost white. The flavour is sweet, but not too much, some raspberry. The aftertaste reveals a little beer flavour as well as a hint of bitterness. All that can be expected from a macro fruit beer. yespr (7787), Copenhagen O, Denmark Aug 17, 2008 25 cL bottle. Pours clear golden red with a creamy pink head, slowly collapsing. Sweet candy like raspberry aroma. Sweet flavour with a minimal suplhorish note. Leads from the solid sweetness into a more dry and still fruity but also mild sulphorish finish. Clearly drinkable but nothing special.
