| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Apr 25, 2005 This bottled brew labeled batch E/13/01 L.60 06H29 poured a large sized head of white colored medium sized frothy mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a transparent orange brown colored uncarbonated body and a fair lacing. The aroma was all raspberry. The mouth feel was mild with an initial tingle and a lingering tingly palate with a raspberry aftertaste. It was semi dry and semi sweet. Did I mention the raspberries? bierkoning (6025), La Tropica, Netherlands
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Apr 5, 2005 5,7% on the label. Raspberry in the aroma. Dusty and a bit citric. Dusty and bitter flavor with raspberry. Bitter aftertaste. Very dry and dusty mouthfeel. Ithought this was a sugary beer with artificial raspberry flavors, but this is a totally different beer. Not my favorite, though. krisbierjaeger (844), dolores, Colorado, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 3, 2005 my bottle has the continental label: "la becasse" and features the elusive eurasian woodcock. the bottled bird burst the bounds of glassy confinement with a sticky drench of angry foam. once corraled into proper glassware, the brew glistened like a copper alembic, proudly polished, with a fog of opacity and a faint blush of lipstick rouge. just a sniff of the aggressive tartness causes salivary glands to pucker. it’s a cookie-crusted tarte aux framboise with both the soft pine of fresh kindling and a note that recalls milk chocolate. great fruit basket sweetness balances with tartness, it’s full-flavored on a cool, refreshing, wine-like body. it tastes like granny smith apples and wild raspberries, with a doughy wheat-like sweetness that dries by seeming to trickle over raw lumber-- the living lambic that dwells beneath. not as lovely as a lindemann’s, but a great change of pace beverage. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 23, 2005 Poured from the bottle into a flute-type glass. A beautiful clear pinkish colour with a full head and good lacing. Aroma is of raspberry of course. A pleasant sourness in the taste. LeopardMan (53), New Zealand

No more head than the Kriek, ie: almost none.
Slightly pink but more of a standard lager colour
Smooth raspberry beer which seems to contain a syrup but is also nicely carbonated.
If it wasn’t so expensive I’d drink it all the time. hotstuff (3175), Indiana, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 6, 2005 Bottle. Medium white head that mostly diminished, sparse lacing, fine-small sized bubbles, carbonated, transparent, and an orange hue. Aroma was sweet and raspberries. Flavor was sweet, tart, tangy, raspberries, and acidic. Too sweet tasting. Palate was smooth and somewhat dry. Light body. kwik-lime (222), London, England
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 2, 2005 Flavour is obviously of raspberries but not that strong. Pours pinky-red with decent head. Raspberry taste isn’t overly strong, in fact it is nicel moderated and along with the carbonation the beer is pleasant and well-balancd if unremarkable. winkle (453), Brisbane, Australia
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 20, 2005 Bottled: poured an impressive pink with a faintly pink head. Very friuty aroma with rasberrys and sugar syrup. Slightly tart and syrupy and overly sweet. Not revolting.
