Feb 28, 2003 Pours a reddish brown but after having the Lindemans Framboise I was expecting more. Not as red in appearance or as tart in the taste as the Lindemans. Taste of raspberries is evident but not as strong as I was expecting. Finishes well and not very sour but this Belle-Vue also seemed to be missing something. Not horrible just nothing overpowering.

Feb 4, 2003 Poured pinky red clear with foamy pink-white head. Lovely aromas of raspberry. Mildly tart raspberry taste with hop aftertaste. Smooth, though you can feel the fine carbonation in your mouth.

Jan 23, 2003 Medium bodied with toasted malt and berry flavors. Rich aroma with a pinkish head. Lingering hop taste doesn't mix quite well with the fruit flavoring.

Jan 1, 2003 12/31/02: bottle. nice, thick pink blush to white head. wonderful lacing and a wonderful, heavenly smell. i think that i could sit and smell this one all day! a more refined taste than the Lindemans Pêche i had the night before (more tart and mellow. less sweet.) clean, refreshing with hints of raspberries. a great taste to end the year.

Jan 1, 2003 Copper/red colored body with a thin but persistent white head. Lots of lacing.
Aroma is of rasberries with a slight hint of malt.
Taste is rasberries with a slightly tart finish. No signs of candy tastes.
Carbonated like champagne but still smooth on the tongue.
Still not as sour as I would like to balance the fruit tastes.

Bottled(375ml) as La Becasse Framboise, 5.7%ABV. Bought this in E.Leclerc, Auxerre, France. Only resemblance with Belle-Vue Framboise is bottle, and everything else, including label, ABV, taste, etc. is different. Red coloured, airy pinkish head, sweet fruity nose. Raspberry aroma with notes of yeast and slight sweet. A little bit sourish than Belle-Vue. 7/4/7/4/15=3.7
