Much better than the Timmermans.... Not so much of the chemical (ethonal/efferial what ever the f!@K that lambic thing is) taste. Smooth, good taste and not too much fizz.

As with Bellevue Kriek, improved as it warmed. Even more phenolic than the Kriek and definitly like cough syrup. Really delicious and will defininatly try again when I win the lottery ;

I agree, much better then Mort Subite. As a mass-produced beer, this one is great.

Rose hued amber. Thin off pink head. Light carbonation. Horsebarn aroma muted by a heap of raspberry syrup. Fizzy, yet full, and tart with a dollop of raspberry sweetness. Medium bodied. Sticky and mildly cloying but far from annoying. More Lambic flavored than many fruit versions, which seem to be more about the fruit and nada about the Lambic. Finishes thinner but nicely tart and seamlessly fruity. Something I would drink for dessert, if a big, fat, hairy Stout wasn’t close by.

I don’t think this is as sweet as other Frambozenbiers and Krieks. It is not very acidic or sour either, but vey refreshing and light. This is better than Mort Subite and almost as good as Liefmans.

Bright rose colour, smells like raspberry vinegar (duh). Certainly tastes like sparkling raspberry juice and, no I don’t think it’s too sweet. But then I like most sweetish brews. However, this is far less sour than the few other Lambics I’ve had, so I can understand why Lambic purists (my superiors) would hate it. I don’t want to make it sound like an alcopop, (it’s way better than that), but if you happen to be hankering for an alcoholic soda this fits the bill.
