Belle-Vue Framboise

Bottle. Clear deep red and sparkling body, pinkish vanishing head. Heavy rasperry aroma. Some acidic and sour notes in the flavor before a dominating sugery sweetness kicks in. Thin-bodied. A slight sourness in the finish.

Bottle. Red-pinkish colour, hardly any head. Good sweet aroma of raspberries. Flavour is smooth and has plenty of raspberries, some sourness, which stays in the aftertaste.

Pours with a lovely big head. It has a clear red colour, very attractive. Not much of a nose. The first flavour that springs to mind is the cheap raspberry jam that you got at school, that came in big tins. Metallic, sweet & sourness. There is also a chemical flavour in there that I can’t quite place. On the up side the fruit is in harmony with the yeasty ’beer’ flavour and is drinks well, not too sticky. Over all it doesn’t feel finished, it needs another couple of flavour notes to work.

Aroma of fresh raspberries. Reddish beer with a good frothy head. Earthy raspberry flavour. Sweet taste. Not a huge fan on fruit beers but not bad.

Somewhat sour, slight raspberry flavor, adit of earth, decent, but nothing great.

(Bottle BB 07/08/07; ABV 5,7%) Raspberry and wooden aroma. Red colour, clear and white, small, more or less fully diminishing head with fair lacing. Raspberry, wooden, sour and acidic flavour. Slightly sticky, medium-bodied and lively carbonated palate. 03/11/06

Bottle at the Anglers Arms, Haverthwaite 28/10/2006 Strong fruit aroma. Red coloured and fruity raspberry with some dryness and malt in a crisp finish.

Bottle. Nice head with ok duration. Color is light red with an amber hue. Aroma is fresh and raspberry. Taste is sweet raspberry and some acidic freshness.
