Apr 8, 2006 Pours a reddish amber with no head. Aroma is amazing-strong scent of raspberries-quite sweet. Taste was fruity-raspberries and tart. Enjoyable.

Bottle - March 2006
Pours a Rosé color, with a big creamy white head and a lively carbonatation. Aroma is vinous sweet, but somewhat artificial. Taste is fruity, slightly sour, but rather flat and onedimensional. Well, one more rating I guess.

Jan 18, 2006 Thin head and caramel brown in the glass, lighter than expected. Tart cherry and berry fruits waft a long way from the glass. Some spice and smokey notes - quite good. Palate doesn’t show as well, nice tart, sour fruits and more smokey hints early but they fade away quite quickly, leaving a slightly dilutive fruit / flavour profile that runs out of steam. Nice finish though with smoke and hop like spice.

Oct 27, 2005 37.5cl bottle from Auchan labelled as La Becasse. OK so I had a cold when I had this, but that is no excuse. Russet colour with thin white head. Sweetish raspberry fruit on aroma. Some sourness in mouth but then smothered by sweetness of the fruit. More raspberry on finish with sour pip coming through. Could do with a bit less artificial fruit sweetness

Oct 9, 2005 Poured coppery brown with a frothy head, and left a nice lacing. The aroma is of course raspberry, very sweet and unfortunately a bit artificial. A good hit of sour in the flavour is a little overbalanced by the sweetness. Light to medium bodied, the palate seemed a little oily, but quite pleasant. Not bad, but I’m sure there are much better out there.

Sep 11, 2005 Bottle at KClingers: Orange/pink. Pours with the lightly twinkly fizziness of a soda. Smooth and fritzy ... classic to style. I won’t drink it, but the chicks will.
