RAYBOY01 (1813), Chicago, Illinois, USA Sep 3, 2005 Vintage 2001: Overly sweetened soda like in flavor...with of course the undertone of sourness, which in this case saves the day. Not one I will ever repeat, but not awfull either. hughie (3016), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England Aug 12, 2005 Dark amber colour with a big, frothy pink head. Aroma was of raspberry and cream and the taste sour and fruity. Excessively fizzy. Quite a good summer drink for the ladies, considerably better than the kriek, but not really beer in my book. Magicdave6 (5400), London, Greater London, England Aug 9, 2005 Very disappointing, i prefer framboise to kriek but this was undrinkable by the time there was 1/4 left, taste of peanut butter came through to a silly level. GiBrew (171), Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada Aug 9, 2005 Pours orange/red with a white head that dissipates very fast. Very carbonated to the palate - much like a wine cooler. Very sweet raspberry Flavours with a dry baking-soda finish. Not bad, just not my stuff... Nagash (202), Paris, France Aug 8, 2005 Very strong rasberry aroma. Less strong in taste, a bit sour, few alcohol, not so bad for a "Framboise beer". Sten (288), Westerlo, Belgium Aug 6, 2005 Red-brown with a small white head. A watery sweet-sour taste. (Bottle 25cl) OKBeer (1159), Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada Aug 1, 2005 375 ml corked bottle. Pink amber colour with a mostly diminishing creamy white head. Tart raspberry aroma and lightly medicinal notes. Straightforward raspberry flavour with a lightly dusty finish. Light bodied, fizzy, but quenching. vanvenlo (794), Glen Iris, Australia Jul 30, 2005 6 May 2005 - Mega rasberry fruit aroma, along with some hop and mild earthy/yoghurt notes. Clear red-brown colour, some head and a suds lacing. Some hops and heaps of rasberry swet fruit and a light earthiness. Some tanginess/bitterness and light mouthfeel.
