Nov 19, 2004 Updated: Jan 9, 2005Bottle. Dark copper/amber colour with a large, slightly pink head. Aroma is tart raspberries. Taste is less raspberry and more, well, like beer. Still dominated by the fruit but also some light bitterness, a bit of wood and a light sour finish. Nice mouthfeel. I quite like this.

Sep 21, 2008 big pink head, nice lacingredish copper color. Nose is realy nice not fake like usual rasberries, lambic tartness. pretty carbonated but nicenot to sweet the lambic is there and the rasberrie doesn’t taste like syrup.

Mar 31, 2004 Muddy red-brown. Thin off-white head w/ pinkish hue. Mildly tart, very sweet raspberry juice aroma w/ some woody notes. Medium, lightly acidic feel. Very sweet raspberry flavour w/ some lightly acidic sourness. Also some oak and iron notes.

Jan 17, 2004 I am happy to have made the correct decision in pouring this into a flute glass. The head formation is clean and long lasting above the expected rose coloured beer. The tart rasberry nose is a welcoming start and when tasted the pleasant flavour comes through with a hint of dry hoppiness. This is a thoroughly refreshing beer, and while being more like a light wine with fine spritzig it is eminently enjoyable.

Jan 18, 2005 Could almost use this as a sorbet before serving dessert. Light sherbety nose. Creamola Foam. Fruity, zesty. Light in body, with sweet/sour fruity notes. Really gets the saliva flowing. Too sweet for my taste but it could pass for dessert in a liquid lunch. (Bottle)

Apr 27, 2002 Clear red-brown somewhat whiskeyish looking, with a small pink head. Faint citrusy-sweet aroma. I don’t get the rasberry in the aroma. Flavour reminds me of sour rasberry cordial with lemon and a shot of poorly masked alcohol . Thin body and weak short finish. Could be a refreshing drink for someone but not me.

Jan 27, 2004 This is an oldie that I'm having. Brown color no head. Aroma is very fruity and sweet. I had eldberries grow behind my house when I was a kid and the flavor reminds me of it. Raspberry too! Like a sweet summer wine. Sweet finish. I liked it!
