Watery brown colour with thin head. Light aroma of raspberries and flowers with some earthy notes. Taste ot match - flavour is a bit thin. Bubbly and sweet with a dry finish. edden (927), cow- lumbus, Ohio, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 13, 2002 Bright rose colour, smells like raspberry vinegar (duh). Certainly tastes like sparkling raspberry juice and, no I don’t think it’s too sweet. But then I like most sweetish brews. However, this is far less sour than the few other Lambics I’ve had, so I can understand why Lambic purists (my superiors) would hate it. I don’t want to make it sound like an alcopop, (it’s way better than that), but if you happen to be hankering for an alcoholic soda this fits the bill. krisbierjaeger (844), dolores, Colorado, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 3, 2005 my bottle has the continental label: "la becasse" and features the elusive eurasian woodcock. the bottled bird burst the bounds of glassy confinement with a sticky drench of angry foam. once corraled into proper glassware, the brew glistened like a copper alembic, proudly polished, with a fog of opacity and a faint blush of lipstick rouge. just a sniff of the aggressive tartness causes salivary glands to pucker. it’s a cookie-crusted tarte aux framboise with both the soft pine of fresh kindling and a note that recalls milk chocolate. great fruit basket sweetness balances with tartness, it’s full-flavored on a cool, refreshing, wine-like body. it tastes like granny smith apples and wild raspberries, with a doughy wheat-like sweetness that dries by seeming to trickle over raw lumber-- the living lambic that dwells beneath. not as lovely as a lindemann’s, but a great change of pace beverage. scotty (834), Scotland

Aroma is clean, fresh, and while not immediately raspberry like, it is fruity and very appealing. Palate is light, with refreshing zesty, fruity, and cleansing flavours. This is a classic lambic, with all the clean refreshing character that these beers exhibit. Lovely! mullet (801), Melbourne, Australia
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 30, 2003 Not really sure why I bought this beer - definitely wanted the bottle for my home-brewed Lambic but I'm not sure it's the best value at $7 each.
Aroma is fruity and completely lacking in Brett. character. In fact there was no discernable Brett. character at all. Attractive beer, red tinged with pretty decent head.
Flavour was pretty reasonable. Quite fruity but quickly followed by a fairly strong sourness (a lot more than I remember).
This has satisfied my need for crappy Lambics for quite some time.
