| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Apr 10, 2006 Bottle. Very good presence of raspberries in the aroma. A little on the sweet side, but a good dose of sour/tart. Not bad, but there are many others in the genre that are better. winkle (453), Brisbane, Australia

Very friuty aroma with rasberrys and sugar syrup. Slightly tart and syrupy and overly sweet. Not revolting. grat (433), ST. Louis, Missouri, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 4, 2004 Updated: Sep 2, 2004Not bad at all. There must have been a crappy batch out or a bunch of folks who had never had a lambic before to have it have been rated so poorly. POurs a nice mirky amber toffee color. Nose is excellent notes of cherries, balsamic vinegar, leather, nectarines and even a hint of milk chocolate...ha you say it was in there all right. On the tongue the palate is excellent. Not cloyingly sweet but sticky nonetheless. Notes of hazelnut, cherries, raspberiies, and horse blanket...ever so lightly. Excellently sour on the forefrton refreshingly sweet on the back end. A good offering.

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 1, 2007 Thin, slightly pinkish head that fades quickly but leaves a thick ring of bubbles around the rim of the glass. Sweet, sour, musty, fruity aroma. Sour raspberry flavors, some musty, woody, funky elements along with a hint of candy-like strawberry. Pretty interesting. Amazingly crisp and dry. Dries up almost instantaneously. Pretty decent stuff. lgklotet (420), Singapore, Singapore
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 30, 2006 Deep red, clear. Raspberry jam aroma. Very sweet palate and all raspberry jam flavour. Very little lambic character at all and overall way too sweet and simple. albert007 (409), Penobsquis, New Brunswick, Canada
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 4, 2002 Not too bad. The raspberry flavor is almost overpowering. It almost tastes like a wine spritzer. Can only notice a faint taste of beer. I am rating this objectively tho, because it is not a bad tasting drink. if I rated this better than any beer on my list, that does not mean that I would drink this before any of them! | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 4, 2004 Bottle: Poured a slightly hazy peach/pink with a large off-white head that left very thick lacing though faded fast. Saaz-like aroma with strong rasberries and some very faint caramel malts. Undertones of garden-bed herbaceousness. Tart, subtle rasberry dominates the flavour. Not much else apart from some barely noticable malts, but probably doesn’t need anything. Slightly tart, silky, and quite nice in the mouth, although a little watery. Quite nice versatile beer.
