| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jul 3, 2003 (rather aged sample) Drab brown with pinkish-red shine; thin white head, stable. Nose like something to deodour the toilet with. Overpowers anything else. Or a raspberry-ish sweet, for starving children. At the end, there's a whiff of vinegar - for the tartar? Sweet, sugary raspberry-ish taste. Something pink bought on the fair because the child wouldn't stop screaming. Very slight acidity. Oily, sticky-sweet mouthfeel. Strange sweet-sourish aftertaste. A disgrace. To add insult to injury, there is true raspberrylambic inside the Henegouwenkaai. Or there used to be... imdownthepub (5164), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England

Sharp raspberry flavour, tart but synthetic. A leafy mould then shows though which swiftly moves downhill. Some vanilla on the finish. Hildigöltur (5109), København, Denmark

It is not very acidic or sour either, but vey refreshing and light. This is better than Mort Subite and almost as good as Liefmans. MartinT (5068), Montreal, Quebec, Canada

It’s got sweet raspberry tastes with just a smack of tartness. The finish is lighly sweet-sour. Tasty.

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Aug 2, 2002 I would consider this a starter lambic. Amber/red color with a light pink/tan head. Aroma of sweet raspberries. Sweet raspberry flavor with little malt to back. Lacks tart/sourness to offset the sweetness. jbrus (4883), Delft, Netherlands

Sweet (less than expected), raspberry, flat and thin. No oak or any wood, no complexity, thin, refreshing though.
