The taste in the mouth is somewhat harsh, and neither fruity nor alcoholic. The aftertaste though is more fruity and pleasant. Aromas are sweet raspberry, some mustiness with a light sourness. Flavours are sweet raspberry with dark cherries. Not much sourness or wild yeast character. Has a refreshing sparkle. As a lambic its not great but as a sweet raspberry drink it does the job. Lubiere (4551), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

Raspberry cough drops aroma with a light acidity. In mouth, a rather astringent raspberry with toothpaste, too tart and chemical. Medium bodied. Forgetable. Bought at Norte, Mendoza for 8$AR. Nice rocky, lasting head with beautiful lacing on top of a clear, light orange-brown liquid. Medium body, sticky and syrupy sweet, only very slightly sour. Kind of flat, syrupy taste of raspberries, some sour apple flavors and malt as well. Doesn’t taste as clean and fresh and crisp as other Belgian lambics...another example of not being able to judge a book by its cover (lovely head and lacing!). muzzlehatch (4427), Burlington, Vermont, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 10, 2001 I generally love fruit lambics; so why have I picked a couple of dogs to start my lambic-rating career? Got me. Unlike ecrvich, I had a sample with virtually no head, but I liked the cloudy red body and the super-fruity aroma. Then I tasted it. Hit with a raspberry explosion at first, I was quickly thrown into a well of sourness the next; tasted kind of flat and stale, and very two-note. Just raspberry; then just sourness. I’ll go back to Lindemans. motelpogo (4395), Plzen, Czech Republic

The aroma was all raspberry. The mouth feel was mild with an initial tingle and a lingering tingly palate with a raspberry aftertaste. It was semi dry and semi sweet. Did I mention the raspberries?
