Not as red in appearance or as tart in the taste as the Lindemans. Taste of raspberries is evident but not as strong as I was expecting. Finishes well and not very sour but this Belle-Vue also seemed to be missing something. Not horrible just nothing overpowering. RichardGretton (3159), Leicestershire, England

Bottled(375ml) as La Becasse Framboise, 5.7%ABV. Bought this in E.Leclerc, Auxerre, France. Only resemblance with Belle-Vue Framboise is bottle, and everything else, including label, ABV, taste, etc. is different. Red coloured, airy pinkish head, sweet fruity nose. Raspberry aroma with notes of yeast and slight sweet. A little bit sourish than Belle-Vue. 7/4/7/4/15=3.7 hughie (3079), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 12, 2005 Dark amber colour with a big, frothy pink head. Aroma was of raspberry and cream and the taste sour and fruity. Excessively fizzy. Quite a good summer drink for the ladies, considerably better than the kriek, but not really beer in my book. Sour artificial aroma of sirupy and sticky raspberry, which is also the way it tastes. Very thin, short finish. rauchbier (3003), Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, England
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 6, 2003 Updated: Apr 11, 2004Bottled. Red brown with a good white head that is initialy tight and creamy but quickly breaks up into big bubbles and thins. No real lambic aromas except for a slight meatiness under the raspberry note which avoids being artificial but seems a little forced . Sweet and syrupy raspberry in the mouth but smooth with a suggestion of caramel. Some tartness is noticable in the aftertaste which is oily and short with a perfumed note.
