Pours a reddish brown but after having the Lindemans Framboise I was expecting more. Not as red in appearance or as tart in the taste as the Lindemans. Taste of raspberries is evident but not as strong as I was expecting. Finishes well and not very sour but this Belle-Vue also seemed to be missing something. Not horrible just nothing overpowering.

Reasonable dark amber beer with a very fuity strawberry aroma and a fizzy on the palate slightly bitter strawbery flavour. Overall a good lambic.

Pale amber/reddish beer with a light strawberry aroma. The flavour is mildly bitter strawberry. Overall a good fruit beer.

Bottled(375ml). -nice colored, good refreshing fruit beer, nice fruity taste, but Kriek is much better

Bottled(375ml) as La Becasse Framboise, 5.7%ABV. Bought this in E.Leclerc, Auxerre, France. Only resemblance with Belle-Vue Framboise is bottle, and everything else, including label, ABV, taste, etc. is different. Red coloured, airy pinkish head, sweet fruity nose. Raspberry aroma with notes of yeast and slight sweet. A little bit sourish than Belle-Vue. 7/4/7/4/15=3.7

Dark amber colour with a big, frothy pink head. Aroma was of raspberry and cream and the taste sour and fruity. Excessively fizzy. Quite a good summer drink for the ladies, considerably better than the kriek, but not really beer in my book.

Beer 1 Summer 2006 trip in Europe. Drank on 6/28/06 on draft at La Gueze in Paris, France. The is sweet and tasty but not as complex as traditional lambics. the brew is certainly a comercial lambic, and is very easy to drink.

Dark red colored, little yellow head. Extremely strong raspberry in aroma with some bubblegum. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor is slightly sour with dominating raspberries and bubblegum also in aftertaste. Refreshing and easy to drink. High carbonation, some skunkiness also in aftertaste.

Light clear orange color, big frothy off-white head. Sour artificial aroma of sirupy and sticky raspberry, which is also the way it tastes. Very thin, short finish.

Bottled. Red brown with a good white head that is initialy tight and creamy but quickly breaks up into big bubbles and thins. No real lambic aromas except for a slight meatiness under the raspberry note which avoids being artificial but seems a little forced . Sweet and syrupy raspberry in the mouth but smooth with a suggestion of caramel. Some tartness is noticable in the aftertaste which is oily and short with a perfumed note.
