Mildly tart raspberry taste with hop aftertaste. Smooth, though you can feel the fine carbonation in your mouth. dirtymike (2018), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA

Pours with a thin white head atop a rose colored body. Nice lacing. Lightly sour with a moderate raspberry aroma and flavor. Very good. Maybe better than the Kriek. | 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 29, 2003 Bottle, from Waitrose, Marlborough, Wilts. Fruity, slightly tart, but deeply pleasurable aroma. Sharpish, fruit gum flavour, which levels out as strawberry/raspberry, with a softening metallic finish. Sherbetty sparkle, alternating with cake - hoppy on your tongue. Thin mouthfeel, little carbonation. Relatively complex - better than Belle Vue's Kriek, and my favourite Framboise overall. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 29, 2004 Sampled alongside Jacobins Framboise max. It comes out favourably.. it’s not as sweet (which is probably a good thing), the Raspberry is less overpowering, it has far more body, and it tastes more like a beer. Despite the less sweet character, it’s still a very accessible and easily obtainable fruit lambic. JoeM500 (1876), Chicago (little italy), Illinois, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 21, 2004 Syrupy sweet 2001 vintage sampled in 2004. Too much sugary thickness and artificial taste. Some sourness and "lambic-ness" does come through, but not nearly enough! TheGrandMaster (1862), Auckland, New Zealand
