| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 25, 2004 I was expecting bad things after the dissappoitnment of the Kreik, but this was a step in the right direction. Less syrupy flavour, drier and far more drinkable. A hint of red in the colour, doesn’t hold a good head, and a slight aroma of tart fruitiness, all reasonable but not outstanding, but on the right track for the style. bu11zeye (5621), Frisco, Texas, USA

Smells of raspberries and slight non-descript sweet-syrupy notes. Distinct light red-amber-gold color topped by a fizzy white head. Medium-high carbonation. Starts out with a light whack of sugary sweet flavors and raspberries and finishes with a very light tart-sour finish. A nice light, refreshing after-dinner beverage, nothing too challenging. Aromas were very fruity, mostly berry and citrus. Flavors were also very berry, with a strong tart body. Not one of the better lambics I’ve had. alobar (1032), Harleysville, Pennsylvania, USA
