Jan 2, 2007 Bottle. Red-pinkish colour, hardly any head. Good sweet aroma of raspberries. Flavour is smooth and has plenty of raspberries, some sourness, which stays in the aftertaste.

Jul 11, 2007 Not quite as good as the kriek. Amazingly sniffable, but perhaps a bit overpowering in the sweetness stakes, to the point of being a bit sickly. Great in small quantities, and an excellent alternative to Benedryl.

Aug 30, 2006 Beer 1 Summer 2006 trip in Europe. Drank on 6/28/06 on draft at La Gueze in Paris, France. The is sweet and tasty but not as complex as traditional lambics. the brew is certainly a comercial lambic, and is very easy to drink.

Aug 1, 2005 375 ml corked bottle. Pink amber colour with a mostly diminishing creamy white head. Tart raspberry aroma and lightly medicinal notes. Straightforward raspberry flavour with a lightly dusty finish. Light bodied, fizzy, but quenching.

Apr 29, 2004 Sampled alongside Jacobins Framboise max. It comes out favourably.. it’s not as sweet (which is probably a good thing), the Raspberry is less overpowering, it has far more body, and it tastes more like a beer. Despite the less sweet character, it’s still a very accessible and easily obtainable fruit lambic.
