This one is too sweet for me, nit that I am against sweet, but it’s just the wrong way of tasting sweet...

375 ml corked bottle. Pink amber colour with a mostly diminishing creamy white head. Tart raspberry aroma and lightly medicinal notes. Straightforward raspberry flavour with a lightly dusty finish. Light bodied, fizzy, but quenching.

Sampled alongside Jacobins Framboise max. It comes out favourably.. it’s not as sweet (which is probably a good thing), the Raspberry is less overpowering, it has far more body, and it tastes more like a beer. Despite the less sweet character, it’s still a very accessible and easily obtainable fruit lambic.

Red, good steady head, lots of lace. Rasberry nose, strong aroma. Sweet and a bit sour rasberry flavor. A bit sour aftertaste.

Light red colour, only very faint fruit nose. The taste in the mouth is somewhat harsh, and neither fruity nor alcoholic. The aftertaste though is more fruity and pleasant. A quite bland, obviously mass-marketed fruit beer

Orange, slightly pink, with off white lasting head. Rasberry aroma. Sour flavour with more rasberry and some vanilla (oak).

Taste like a raspberry beer...not bad at all. Wife, who only drinks the bud lights of the world, enjoyed the beer more than I did. Will use this beer to introduce her to other beers.
