Overall, was very thin and did not have much fruit or malt taste. Hops were aparent, but what wasn’t was the sour acidic taste that I have come to expect from the style. A disapointment.

I generally love fruit lambics; so why have I picked a couple of dogs to start my lambic-rating career? Got me. Unlike ecrvich, I had a sample with virtually no head, but I liked the cloudy red body and the super-fruity aroma. Then I tasted it. Hit with a raspberry explosion at first, I was quickly thrown into a well of sourness the next; tasted kind of flat and stale, and very two-note. Just raspberry; then just sourness. I’ll go back to Lindemans.

Not my thing. Interesting mix of flavours, sweet, sour, a bit bitter and even salty. Sparkly, golden-red and a foamy head that tastes oddly metallic. Complex taste, worth a try perhaps, but I didn’t enjoy it.

A dark Orange/Ruby color with a slight haze and an off-white head. Sweet berry with some wood & a slight tart scent. Very syrupy sweet up front with a bit of oakiness in the middle and just a hint of lambic tartness in the follow. As in their Kriek offering, this is fairly tasty but too sweet.

Pours a reddish brown but after having the Lindemans Framboise I was expecting more. Not as red in appearance or as tart in the taste as the Lindemans. Taste of raspberries is evident but not as strong as I was expecting. Finishes well and not very sour but this Belle-Vue also seemed to be missing something. Not horrible just nothing overpowering.

Pinkish beer with raspberry aroma and taste - slightly artificial. Pleasent mouthfeel. I like their kriek better.

Muddy red-brown. Thin off-white head w/ pinkish hue. Mildly tart, very sweet raspberry juice aroma w/ some woody notes. Medium, lightly acidic feel. Very sweet raspberry flavour w/ some lightly acidic sourness. Also some oak and iron notes.
