Bottle. Clear deep red and sparkling body, pinkish vanishing head. Heavy rasperry aroma. Some acidic and sour notes in the flavor before a dominating sugery sweetness kicks in. Thin-bodied. A slight sourness in the finish.

Sweet, almost menthol cork, fruity crisp nose. cloudy, pretty white slime and chunks at the bottle bottom, reddish color. Souring on the tongue with some blue cheesy edges, less fruity and sweet than other lambics.

Syrupy sweet 2001 vintage sampled in 2004. Too much sugary thickness and artificial taste. Some sourness and "lambic-ness" does come through, but not nearly enough!

Aroma is a bit sweet. Light hops. Fragrance of raspberries but not strong. Rubbery. Dark orange-amber clear with lacing small white head. Medium body and carbonation. Mild tartness of berries up front. Mild hops. Light raspberry taste. Overall, watery. Not a really good framboise lambic.
