Raspberry taste isn’t overly strong, in fact it is nicel moderated and along with the carbonation the beer is pleasant and well-balancd if unremarkable. Hildigöltur (5109), København, Denmark

It is not very acidic or sour either, but vey refreshing and light. This is better than Mort Subite and almost as good as Liefmans. ogivlado (3095), Zagreb, Croatia

Bottled(375ml) as La Becasse Framboise, 5.7%ABV. Bought this in E.Leclerc, Auxerre, France. Only resemblance with Belle-Vue Framboise is bottle, and everything else, including label, ABV, taste, etc. is different. Red coloured, airy pinkish head, sweet fruity nose. Raspberry aroma with notes of yeast and slight sweet. A little bit sourish than Belle-Vue. 7/4/7/4/15=3.7 mutant (854), Melbourne, Australia
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 13, 2002 Bright rose colour, smells like raspberry vinegar (duh). Certainly tastes like sparkling raspberry juice and, no I don’t think it’s too sweet. But then I like most sweetish brews. However, this is far less sour than the few other Lambics I’ve had, so I can understand why Lambic purists (my superiors) would hate it. I don’t want to make it sound like an alcopop, (it’s way better than that), but if you happen to be hankering for an alcoholic soda this fits the bill. whaleman (2171), North Wales, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 27, 2003 Pink-tinted peach body with a thin head and mild carbonation for a lambic. Aroma of raspberries, roses, and leather. Flavor includes some botanical qualities and woodiness. Mine seemed surprisingly dry compared to other reviews. Soft and mild palate. A perplexing beer with widely varying reviews. Seemed decent and enjoyable to me. Then again, this follows shortly after the Sam Adams Cranberry Lambic that I had last night. damirvrkic (55), Franklin ACT, Australia

It’s got sweet raspberry tastes with just a smack of tartness. The finish is lighly sweet-sour. Tasty.
