| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 4, 2004 Bottle: Poured a slightly hazy peach/pink with a large off-white head that left very thick lacing though faded fast. Saaz-like aroma with strong rasberries and some very faint caramel malts. Undertones of garden-bed herbaceousness. Tart, subtle rasberry dominates the flavour. Not much else apart from some barely noticable malts, but probably doesn’t need anything. Slightly tart, silky, and quite nice in the mouth, although a little watery. Quite nice versatile beer. Pours a clear, fizzy, pale pink champagney colour with a pink tinged head. Aroma is like sniffing a bowl of wet, freshly picked, berries. Light mouthfeel delivers a dry sweet and tart flavour with little noticeable malt or hop influence. Like champagne with rasberries but not quite as dry. A nice wee pre-dinner drink, definitely not a quaffer.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 18, 2006 Thin head and caramel brown in the glass, lighter than expected. Tart cherry and berry fruits waft a long way from the glass. Some spice and smokey notes - quite good. Palate doesn’t show as well, nice tart, sour fruits and more smokey hints early but they fade away quite quickly, leaving a slightly dilutive fruit / flavour profile that runs out of steam. Nice finish though with smoke and hop like spice. highlandlad (1258), Sydney, Australia
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 18, 2005 Could almost use this as a sorbet before serving dessert. Light sherbety nose. Creamola Foam. Fruity, zesty. Light in body, with sweet/sour fruity notes. Really gets the saliva flowing. Too sweet for my taste but it could pass for dessert in a liquid lunch. (Bottle) spporras (260), Finland

Some acidity but clearly more on the sweet side. Sugary palate.
