No more head than the Kriek, ie: almost none.
Slightly pink but more of a standard lager colour
Smooth raspberry beer which seems to contain a syrup but is also nicely carbonated.
If it wasn’t so expensive I’d drink it all the time. sayravai (3733), Helsinki, Finland
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 12, 2004 Updated: Aug 5, 2006(Bottled) Clear amber color (filtered) with a large, lacy and quite lasting head. Slightly sweet, a bit artificial raspberry aroma with slight sour and ashy hints. Sweet, slightly oaky-ashy and acidic, straightforward raspberry flavor. Light to medium-bodied, a bit dull, fizzy-carbonated palate. A decent, sweet dessert (or beginners’) lambic, but can’t compete with Lindemans’ Kriek as one. voota (761), Melbourne, Australia
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 6, 2006 Pours in the glass a magnificent clear copper colour with a creamy slightly pink head. Aroma is fresh raspberry and some cherry and candy. The flavour carries a decent sourness, and the fruits are neither artificial tasting or overpowering. The finish feels a little thin, and like the beer as a whole feels like it is missing something. Overall its a decent framboise. microakes (94), Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | May 14, 2005 Sharp raspberry flavour. Very tart, especially given Belle- vue’s tendency for sweetness. A solid lambic.
note: this is the second bottle I’ve tried 2 years after the first. Anomoly or have they wised up and produced a superior product? DarkMagus (433), San Jose, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 1, 2007 Thin, slightly pinkish head that fades quickly but leaves a thick ring of bubbles around the rim of the glass. Sweet, sour, musty, fruity aroma. Sour raspberry flavors, some musty, woody, funky elements along with a hint of candy-like strawberry. Pretty interesting. Amazingly crisp and dry. Dries up almost instantaneously. Pretty decent stuff. bridge (659), Sydney, Australia
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 9, 2005 Poured coppery brown with a frothy head, and left a nice lacing. The aroma is of course raspberry, very sweet and unfortunately a bit artificial. A good hit of sour in the flavour is a little overbalanced by the sweetness. Light to medium bodied, the palate seemed a little oily, but quite pleasant. Not bad, but I’m sure there are much better out there. saxo (3603), Højbjerg, Aarhus, Denmark

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 11, 2009 Got a sixer of this :You know after almost dieing last year, Ive found a new optimism, that was in fact an old optimism. It means I do things I would not of had the guesto to do before, like buying six packs of beer with raspberries in them:Not exactly a Cantillon, but its not as bad as some of the negative press. It smells authentic and drinks down being less sugary than some Lambics with sugar added . Not very sour or acidic . A bit of a chick beer cause of these factors , but it is plesant stuff.
