Bottle- Dark red in colour with not much of a head. Tart cherry aroma. The flavour is of artificial cherry with a mild tartness and acidity.

Bottle. Dark red colour with a big off-white head. Sweet aorma of cherry essence, almonds and syrup. The flavour was very sweet, with more cherries and the merest hint of tartness. The finish was cloyingly sweet. All a bit synthetic and far too sweet.

Bottle: Pours a clear red with no head. Aroma, tart cherry, some sugars, sweet smelling. Flavor, cherries, some slight tartness, very low acidity, and definitely on the sweet side, more lindemans than cantillon. Oh well.

Can bought in Brussels. Very commercial and soda pop-like kriek. It does not make you feel your stomac acid rising or your teeth fillings fall out, but it is boring and uninventive, a pale echo of a real kriek.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a dark clear red with a pinkish white head and a sour smell of citrus and red wine vinegar. Taste isn’t sour initially, it’s very sweet like cherry flavored candy with hints of caramel and brown sugar. After that a very short sour note comes by, but that lasts for less than a second. Finish is heavily sweet, like you have been eating a lollipop. Not my kriek

It’s a nice reddish kriek with ditto head. It has cherries in aroma and flavour. It’s not sticky sweet, but on the sweet side, and it has just enough acidity to balance the overall impression.

Bottle, purchased in a cafe in Brussels. Poured a deep dark red colour, with a foamy pinkish beige head. Dominant cherry aroma and sweet taste of malt flavors with some spiciness and hints of hoppiness in the finish. .
