Pours mahogany red with a bit of persistent head. Aroma is grasses with dark cherries underneath. Very sweet cherry, red wine, and something else (not good) I can’t place. Dry. Not something I’d try again, except maybe on tap.

(Bottle BB 30/01/07; ABV 5.1%) Cherry, sweet and wooden (cherry stones?) aroma. Ruby red colour and small, reddish, more or less fully diminishing head with a hint of lacing. Cherry, wooden, sweet (initial) and sour (finish) flavour. Fizzy carbonated, slightly dry and medium-bodied palate. 16/09/06

Bottled. Pours deep pinky red with excitable carb which quickly turns to nothing. Looks and tastes like a fermented version of robinsons summer fruit high juice. Big berry nose and with a hint of something woody and less pleasant. Taste begins as cherry coke then moves on to something less artificial, before you come to the abrupt realisation that this beer is truely vile and is far too sickly and chemically adulterated to ever really be drinkable. The finish is lasting kiddy-candy, sugar and metalic chemicals. Drain pour. This beer is worth a try for the interest factor but i won’t be returning. I seem to remember trying this a year or two ago on tap and having a different experence. Maybe it’s just the inBev effect.....

Pours a dark coppery red, with a frothy pink head. Aroma is of faint glazed cherries and some sweet malts. The flavour is not overly sweet, but the sourness tastes a little weird and artificial. I like the amount of cherry though. The finish is quite metallic and astringent, like you have just eaten something artificial. At the end I feel like it just needs some more of something, but I guess that’s InBev for you.

Bottle, BB 1/30/07. Poured a clear translucent cherry red with a tall, light-pinkish head. Tart cherries and perhaps some artificial sweetener reside in the slight airy and pleasant nose. This beer then takes a turn for the worse... Tart and remarkably stale cherries pair with something unpleasant in the flavor (couldn’t put a finger on what it was)... very sweet for no good reason. The tartness was nice, but the nastiness above is what lingered in the finish. Started nice, but turned out to be less-than-ideal when it hit the lips.

Pours light ruby with a fully receding white head. Aroma of cherries, apple, and leather. Taste is sweet, lightly tart, and a bit syrupy of cherry. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and slightly sticky with soft foamy carbonation.
