Beer 11 Summer 2006 trip in Europe. Drank on 7/1/06 in from a can on the train between Paris and Brussels. This is an extremely sweet commercial Kriek which contains 8.5% fruit juice. It is light and refreshing but almost too sweet.

Bottled. Pours a reddish amber with a light pink head. Pink lace! Aroma is sweet with cherries and spice. Light body and medium carbonation. The starts a little sweet and goes a little sour with cherries, wood and spice. Dry finsh.

Bottle in Schiermonnikoog. Not my thing, it has very strong cranberry flavor and is very punchy. I felt it a bit sour with considerable aftertase. Can see why it’s so popular though. Good for some!

Bottle: Courtesy of Styles. aroma of sweet cherries, vinegar, mustiness, and light cork. Pours a transparent mahogany with a minimal pink ring for a head. Weak sugary cherry flavor with a hint of cork in the finish. Light vinegar in the background. Overall a weak flavored lambic and what is there is not all that great. One of the worst lambics I’ve had.

375ml Bottle w/ cork, 5.1% a/v Pours a dark ruby colour, looks exactly like cranberry juice, with a foamy pink head. The smell is of cherry, raspberry and some boozy notes. The taste is incredibly cherryish. Like freakin kool aid! Its a very refreshing drink, very summer appropriate!

Pleasant aroma with some cherry. Reddish amber in color. Syrupy sour cherry flavour. Slightly dry. A fair beer but would much rather have had a Lindemans

Strong cherry aromas, pours clear red, with a large pinkish head. Flavour is sweet cherry with a strong fruit tartness at the end. Reminds me of a cherry cider rather than a beer. No wheat or hop flavours were evident. Not enjoyable for myself, but my wife liked it.
