Not my favourite drink, but not terrrible either. It’s not as good as i was hoping for. Pours with an interesting pinkish head. Tastes a little like black chery pop. Oh, well, I had to try.

Bottle. Nice pink head with good duration. Color is clear light ruby. Good aroma of cherries. Taste is refreshing and vinous. Not as sour as some of the other lambics around, but a bit more watery.

Bottle. Clear red, pink head. Sour-sweet aroma, cherry dominated. Quite tart palate; Flavour, again, is cherry-dominated. Not very complex, lacking in lambic character.

Can. (5.1%ABV) Clear, candy-red with a large pink head. Hints of sourness in the aroma, but mostly cherries and sugar. The same goes for the flavor. Sticky mouthfeel and a finish that is mostly sweet, but also has some tartness. (060709)

Great beer. Most interesting fruity beverage that actually maintains its beer characterisitcs, and is not just an alco-malt. Had it in france under the La Bécasse alias.

Nice, heavy, caged & corked 375ml bottle. This pours a dark reddish pink, with decent pinkish head. The aroma of course is of cherries. Lots and lots of cherries. Taste is bold and refreshing, not too sweet, with a good amount of tartness in there, and I didn’t find it too cough syrup/medicinal tasting. Definitely not the best lambic in the world, but not bad either.

375 ml bottle. Cyprus @ All about beer. My first Lambic. Better than I thought it would be. Nice reddish brown color. Intense cherry aroma and taste. Didn’t actually taste like a beer but I liked it.

375 ml Bottle: I’m glad to see that I don’t hate lambics, I just hate Chapeau Exotic. The bottle is excellent with a cool cork top, and it pours great. Nice thick head with a ruby red body, very little visual carbonation. Aroma heavy in cherries, but quite pleasant. More carbonation in the taste, with heavy cherry flavour imparted with a very delicate lager-style backing. I’m actually quite impressed with this as far as the style goes, I’d have one again. Probably a good one during the summer heat, but perhaps not at the price.
