dj (418), Gloucestershire, England Mar 23, 2006 Bottle, 375ml, 5.1% ABV. An average mostly diminishing off-white head. Aromas of red wine and cherry. Clear dark red appearance. Flavour of sour cherries, somewhat acidic. Quite fizzy.
My first Lambic - didn’t impress me much. Tasted most like a sour cherryade. destroye7 (299), Melbourne, Australia Mar 18, 2006 375 ml bottle. Red color. Sour cherry flavor. Cherry aroma. Nice carbonation. Head disapeared after a couple of minutes. Nice beer. DJMonarch (5966), Northwich, Cheshire, England Mar 7, 2006 1. On Tap at the Bar Fringe, Manchester 31/05/2001
Cherry fruit aroma and flavour. Hoppy finish.

Amber red coloured with fruity cherry aroma and flavour. Smooth hop finish. chicagobears (336), Elk Grove Village, Illinois, USA Mar 5, 2006 Squezzed cherry color and head. Very tart and sour cherry-peel flavor. Can get a bit too much after a while. Strange enough I did not expect the cherry flavor to overpower everything else. I have not tried any other lambics. I will try some others like Cantillon to compare to this. Unfortunetly, this destroyed my palate for anything else I Itried that evening. The tart cherry lingers and lingers and lingers... Diogène (543), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada Mar 4, 2006 Bottle - Dark read with a thick foamy pink head. Aroma is sweet cherry. The taste is sweet and sour cherry, but not much around this. This one is not for me but it is OK for the style. jkbier (24), Kiel, Germany Mar 4, 2006 Bottle. Dark red with a huge, bubbly pink head. Aroma of cherry drops, though not very strong. Palate is a little sticky, with good carbonation. Flavor of cherry juice in the beginning, followed by a crisp malt. Ends with a somewhat acidic finish. Interesting beer. ghawener (952), San Salvador, El Salvador Feb 25, 2006 Bottle: Burgundy red colour with a large cherry head with a nice lacing. Aroma strong on cherry and red fruits, taste is a bit boring, sweet, cherries, slight maltiness. Tastes like cough medicine. EithCubes (2140), Indiana, USA Feb 19, 2006 Bottled under the name La Becasse Kriek (5.1%), enjoyed at a substandard restaurant near one of the world’s most famous cemetaries, in Paris. My first lambic. Blood/cherry red pour, pink head. Huge, sweet cherry aroma. Flavor followed as expected. Creamy mouthfeel. A bit too sweet and doesn’t really emphasize the sourness of the cherries, but not bad.
