crizay (1050), Brook Park (was Tampa,FL), Ohio, USA Dec 4, 2005 Updated: Jun 10, 2007Red pour, small pink head. Cherry aroma blast you in the face. Taste is sour cherry and raspberry mixed for a delicious beer.
Quinten (954), zaandam, Netherlands Dec 2, 2005 My planning wase: have some beer ratings, but after this one I’m going to take only red-buls Pinnhead (93), New Jersey, USA Nov 17, 2005 as a fruit beer this is the gold standard. cherry stands out but does not shout. Have only ever had it in Belgium, on tap and have not located a single distributor in the states. It is an almost perfect after dinner beer. imdownthepub (5087), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England Nov 14, 2005 Bottled, 330 ml. Dark chestnut to purple, pinkish head. Sour cherry straight in from the start with a sweet sucrosy background. Heavy on the tongue with a cardboardy fizzed CO2 note. Not for me. Linc (736), Sydney, Australia Nov 5, 2005 Sour, artificial cherry aroma. Medicinal, spicy cherry taste with muted acid levels. Full bodied and creamy, but that’s not going to save what is a pretty sub standard beer. stouby (1931), Holbaek, Denmark Nov 1, 2005 Can, at home.
Dark red with red head, fully diminishing. Aroma is sweet and powerful of cherries. Flavor sweet with notes of cherries, and a dry woody finish. Light, watery body, lively carbonated. Good kriek. Nekronos (2243), Xalapa, Mexico Oct 29, 2005 Updated: Feb 8, 2006NOt as good as the Framboise one, but sitll good and sweet, good foam, and not tiring, really good. bridge (659), Sydney, Australia Oct 7, 2005 Updated: Dec 21, 2006Dark maroon, with a pillowy, lasting head. Obvious cherries in the aroma, although slightly artificial. Tart and sour, the flavour is nicely balanced, but a little bland. Medium-bodied and nicely dry, this slides down very easily.
