ante (2904), Stockholm, Sweden Feb 23, 2004 Dark blood-red colour. Small pink head. Sweet cherry aroma with notes of sour apples and dark chocolate. Quite sweet and one-dimensional flavour of cherries. Some sour notes in finish. Crockett (904), Steelback County, Ontario, Canada Feb 23, 2004 Red with a big fluffy pink head. Spicey fruit aroma. Sour with cherry tartness. Musty wood/earthy background. Has good qualities that are upstaged by too much sugar. nickchalk (229), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Feb 22, 2004 Pours a pinkish colour, with a pinkish head. The aroma is quite plain: cherries. In the flavour, the cherries taste fake, and it just isn't sour enough for me. Nonetheless, it's kinda tasty. Bottle. abansal (3), Ontario, Canada does not count Feb 4, 2004 Love the sweet sesation of the tartness once your first sip is taken. Enjoy the sweet raspberry flavour. Not the type of beer that you can have all night, however is good to start the evening off. harlequinn (2745), Tacoma, Washington, USA Feb 2, 2004 Pours a deep ruby red, with a small fizzy pink head. Flavor is tart before it warms up to the proper temperature. After sitting for awhile, the flavors really come out, syrupy sugary sweet, that reminds me of those little cherry candies you get around the holidays from Hickory Farms. Very tasty and easy to drink. JagerQueen (123), Shoreline, Washington, USA Feb 2, 2004 Pours a rich red brown color with a hearty cherry aroma. Tart flavor when chilled, but turns more fruity and sweet as it warms. Warms the mouth with cherry flavor, with a subtle tart aftertaste. Good, not great, but good. JustinBathurst (134), Corner Brook, Newfoundland, Canada Jan 31, 2004 Aroma was medicinal cherry. Smelt extremely sweet. Mouthfeel was light and crisp. Well-rounded, but not awe-inspiring. Now--the flavour is fantastic. Sour cherries with good sweet kick off the bat, finishes with bubblegum that eases away. The finish is subdued enough to allow the start room. Aftertaste is well-sweetened tart that remains for some time. A wonderful drink to discover--I think one would enjoy this with a nice dessert and then relax, possibly by drinking something totally different. Not a session by any means (my God, imagine doing that, you'd have to remove your tongue by the end) but something to always have in the fridge. Mads Langtved (2246), Copenhagen K, Denmark Jan 28, 2004 Artificial and extremely sweet. A classic low quality fruit beer. Too much is sickening. Earlier Rating: 9/8/2002 Total Score: 3.1 A litlle too ordinary. The palate has’nt got the nice marzipan-alike-taste, which I enjoy very much.
