Jun 22, 2003 Updated: Jul 27, 2003A great and classic lambic ale. This is really a Cherry, Barley champagne. But delicious, sweet and unusual. Fantastic with dark chocolate and belgian waffles. Not an everyday quaffer but amazing and unique.

Jun 10, 2003 Very intersting brew. Pours up looking more like wine than beer. Aroma is dominant cherry as is flavor which is a little sour. Pretty yummy.

Jun 2, 2003 Pale pink weak head. Bright deep red color. Aroma is fruity, cherry and slighly acidic. Flavor is cherry too and slightly sour, ending in a sweet and moderately acidic long finish. Medium bodied.

May 28, 2003 Deep red colour with a thick and foamy but mostly diminishing pink tinted head. Sour cherry aroma. Flavour of tart and sweet cherries. Palate is flat and light but refreshing.

May 27, 2003 Updated: Sep 20, 2005The cherry aroma is the best thing about this beer. The appearance reminded me of brandy but more cloudy. Sour fruit taste. Also some taste of brandy, possibly from oak barrels. Maybe something was lost due to the green bottle.
