May 27, 2003 Updated: Sep 20, 2005The cherry aroma is the best thing about this beer. The appearance reminded me of brandy but more cloudy. Sour fruit taste. Also some taste of brandy, possibly from oak barrels. Maybe something was lost due to the green bottle.

Feb 23, 2004 Dark blood-red colour. Small pink head. Sweet cherry aroma with notes of sour apples and dark chocolate. Quite sweet and one-dimensional flavour of cherries. Some sour notes in finish.

Aug 5, 2004 Updated: Dec 13, 2006A very nice dark cherry aroma with dark red color. Flavor of dark cherry but rather weak - did not match what I anticipated from the aroma. Shared with a group - the guys hated it and the girls liked it - there you go. Addendum: Had a bottle cellared for about 18 months, a totally different beer - aroma takes on the more traditional mustiness with cherry sweetness greatly fading. Flavor matches aroma - a musty, dry light cherry flavor. Aging made this much more like a traditional lambic.

May 1, 2004 Updated: Jan 24, 2008Pleasant aroma of cherries. The cherry flavor goes from tart to sweet. A macrobrewery (InBev) version of the style, a bit bland and ordinary.

May 6, 2002 Wonderful cherry scent. Red with little head. Cherry taste, then bitterness and sour. Nice carb/tingle. Quite good.

Jun 20, 2006 Bouteille verte de 375 ml, avec bouchon de liège, achetée à la LCBO d’Ottawa (ONT). Arôme: Odeur de cerises et de sucré. Apparence: La couleur est rouge avec une faible densité de bulle. Présence d’un moyen col mousseux rosâtre avec une large dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût de cerises sûrettes. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture huileuse. Forte effervescence en bouche. Présence d’amertume en arrière goût. (Rating #522)
