| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 11, 2004 This was a nice mellow kriek. Smelled cherries as soon as the I pulled out the cork - opened with a quiet pop, and when I started pouring I thought that maybe this was going to be flat. Luckilly, it developed a thick fluffy pink head on top of the hazy red body. Also had great sticky lacing. Taste was mellower than expected, but smooth and full of semi tart cherry. Hints of sourness, but I would’ve preferred more. Finish was slightly bitter, woody, almost like cherry pits. eaglefan538 (2403), Wilmington, Delaware, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 5, 2006 Sampled straight from the bottle in Ieper to cap a night of lots of drinking (persistently pleaded with the the hotel late night cover boy to open the bar just for us and eventually got three bottles "to go"). A very drinkable fruit lambic, this one had enough fruit to it to be tasteful (and not a big mouthful of puckering), while not losing some of the sourness imparted by the lambic base (it was still a beer and didn’t taste like a soft drink). Aroma was cherries and apples. Flavor was mostly cherries (some tartness). Boutip (2402), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 8, 2004 Bottle – Poured a medium reddish brew with a nice foamy head with good retention. Aroma of cheery is extremely dominant. Body is medium with good carbonation. Taste is very accentuated by cherry with some tannic on the background. The cherry taste might be a tad too juicy for my own taste. This beer lack a bit of the sourness usually founded in lambic but overall this is still a very good beer. Hansen (2356), Randers, Denmark
