Cherry malty nose, trees, not offensive, sweetish. Moderately carbonated mouth, sweet cherry, woody, then a touch of sourness. Reminds me of sweet cherry sweets I ate as a child, and black forest gateaux. Not much palate, what there is is a bit woody. Slightly sour towards the end. All in all, well rounded, not bold enough for my liking though. Bit ’flimsy’ Stew41 (1054), Caulfield, Australia
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Nov 24, 2004 Pours a big fluffy head. Medium brown with dark red tinges. Very aromatic nose of confectionary cherry notes - true to form. Poor flavour profile - sour sourness and citrus from the fruit is let down by a skunky, slightly stale feel. No traditoinal beer flavours to speak of.
My first Lambic so I don’t really know what I’m doing. Maybe not m bag but I’m sure this is a bad bottle. crizay (1050), Brook Park (was Tampa,FL), Ohio, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Feb 14, 2005 Valentine’s day and something special for my 300th review from my better half. Poured into a thin tulip it shows a light brandy-sherry color. 3 finger pink tinted meringue head. Wonderful nose: fruity, medicinal, slightly musty with a wisp of treacle. Slick mouthfeel dominance of fruit but there is a subtle but constant undertone of horse blanket layered with spice, earth...finish is wet, sour, musty with fruit over tones. Wonderfully layered between sweet-sour-bitter-musty. Wonderful stuff. I like it so kill me. austone (1039), Turku; Pori, Finland
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jun 1, 2008 Deep berry red, nocely lacing pink head. Acidic and sweet cherry nose. Little cherry drops. Flavor is cherry, wheat, little red currants. Sweet, but still with a sourish lambic edge. Nothing complex, but at least not totally ruined with sugar. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 24, 2003 Ruby hued with a foamy tan/pink head. A sweet & tart aroma like cherry pie filling. Initially a maoderate sweetness with a pleasant tart middle and a mild bitter follow. This was a treat to find out here in the far reaches of northern Japan. alobar (1032), Harleysville, Pennsylvania, USA
